Nature does not discriminate, and this little dog teaches us all a lesson. Unfortunately, the mother of 5 opossums was terribly rammed by another animal, leaving her little pups orphaned and unprotected, but a little dog (Pretinha) witnessed the terrible misfortune and did not hesitate to become a mother and adopt the opossums.
When she arrived home with all those babies, her owner did not hesitate to help her and has been taking care of them for almost a month now. She is a mother who is totally committed to her new babies. According to the veterinarian, the opossums have not yet opened their eyes, which means that they are not more than a week old. The milk from this wet nurse is perfect for them to grow strong and survive. She still keeps some of her cubs’ milk, so she will nurse them happily. Her owner never left her alone.
With formula milk, Pretinha’s owner was always there to support her with everything. These little ones have managed to survive thanks to the care of this beautiful family, but they still cannot be returned to their natural habitat. The cubs are still a little weak and need the care of a mother who will protect them and take care of them as she has done so far. For this reason, they will wait until they are self-sufficient for their release. In the meantime she continues to give them love and teach them everything they need to learn.
