Stray dogs struggle every day to get food or find a person to take care of them. This time, a young street worker in the city of Cali surprised thousands on TikTok when he shared his food with his pet. Despite not having much money for his work, the man showed that he could take care of him.
In the scene shared by Davy, it could be seen that the ambulant was sitting on the central berm of Avenida del Rio in Cali, Colombia. However, what most caught the attention of drivers and passersby was that he was carrying his pet on his back so as not to leave it alone. The man was taking a break, so he decided to take out a piece of food. Network users were impressed when he shared the food he had with his dog. “Sometimes the one who has the least, gives the most,” Davy commented as he watched the scene from his vehicle.
In another clip, the young man, who recorded the moment with his cell phone, explained that when he finished recording, he wanted to get out of the car to offer his help, but the traffic light on the avenue had changed to green. “The cars started honking their horns and when I turned around, he was gone,” she said.
Reactions to the video were not lacking and more than one person was encouraged to praise the young pedestrian. “That’s empathy and mutual love. The two of them keep each other company”, “He didn’t have so much food and still gave his doggie”, “Whoever sees him and has the means to help him, do it.
