This is what happened to Rommel Quemenales, an 11-year-old Filipino boy who lives in the city’s alleys. This is because his parents separated and left him adrift. Thus, for a long time he had to face loneliness, hunger and contempt from the rest of the people. However, one day he met a little dog who from the very first moment gave him all the love he deserved. The small canine was also living in the street, so the boy decided to adopt him so that they could accompany each other on a daily basis. Thus, together they overcame loneliness and experienced what it was like to have an unconditional companion.
Since that day, the boy has known what it means to have fun. He plays with his dog all the time and they go for the best walks to be happy. In addition, the boy goes out every day in the company of his doggie to sing songs in public transportation. That way, he gets the resources to be able to eat something and satisfy the basic needs of his pet.
Maria Kabs, a citizen of the Philippines, heard about the boy’s story. She posted pictures of the little boy’s situation on her social networks. She also found out that he had been living with the puppy named Badgi for 3 years. Thus, she used the internet world to ask for help for the boy and his adorable pet, who has never abandoned him. In addition to this, she learned that the boy’s dream is to return to school to continue learning. His only goal is to have a better life so he can give his dog all the care he deserves.
