According to Peruvian news portal Wapa , the woman, whose name was not disclosed, says she works at the Parque Industrial station in Villa El Salvador (Peru) every day selling sweets, from morning until night. It’s a tough and lonely job, but at least she has the company of a friendly little stray dog named Pepe, who stays with her until it’s time to leave.

Pepe has no owner, lives on the street and always goes with the vendor to earn a piece of bread. He thanks him for staying there the rest of the time. A Facebook user named Sarisha Sarangi saw the situation and took pity, took pictures and posted on the social network asking for help to get clothes and blankets for the duo.

The next day, they did not find the saleswoman at the station. But they managed to leave Pepe’s things with a policewoman named Flor, who promised to take care of them until they found a temporary home. The vendor was found working a few days later and the supplies were delivered to her.

Dogs always show empathy regardless of whether they are human or another species.
