The sadness of this heartbroken puppy is evident. In a video that went viral, he is seen on top of the van of the rescuers from Carson Shelter in California. They found him wandering the streets with a sad look on his face and several signs of neglect on his body. The golden Labrador is observed starving and malnourished, he had secretions in his irritated eyes and several parts of his furless skin. In addition, his entire skin was noticeably irritated and sickly. His overall appearance was not promising.
Identifying that he was so thin leads shelter professionals to believe that the canine has been on the streets for quite some time. It is not known exactly how long he lived in a neglected situation. Despite his complicated situation and the fact that he was heartbroken, this little dog showed that he has a very sweet heart. He is kind and peaceful, he was always very friendly with the shelter staff and made the rescue work very easy. This made his adjustment and recovery process even easier. However, they knew that he was depressed and in desperate need of a loving family to give him everything that his loved ones had denied him by throwing him out on the street.
This little dog was rescued with a broken heart in the first days of January and before the end of the month, he was ready to believe in a family again. During this time, he was given medication, quality food and lots of love. All of this made the Labrador recover so quickly and he was ready for adoption. Although at the shelter they thought it would be very difficult for him to find a home because of his age (8 years old), his look achieved something incredible. Her tenderness, the video they made for him and her willingness, got Ray adopted quickly.
This new family gave him all the love he was craving. All of his loyal fans were overjoyed that he had this second chance to love and age even more with dignity.
