Summer has come. My wife and I could not go to the sea, so we decided to relax at our cottage. I always liked it there. There is beautiful nature around, birds sing, and in the evening you can see the stars. New spacious house, well-kept yard, lush garden. Last year, the neighbor agreed to mow the lawn and trim the trees for an extra fee, he loves that job very much. And the son loves to run barefoot on the soft grass. Everyone was happy to have a family vacation. Moreover, there was a river nearby, not too deep, you can swim and fish.
So I immediately planned to get up early and go fishing so that we could have a delicious lunch. To cook fish soup, bake fish, yummy! I remembered my childhood. Dad also loved to take me with him and taught me all the tricks. And someday I will teach my son, because he is still a little young, only 4 years old.
After a generous catch, I returned and began to kindle a fire. I decided not to wake my wife and son in the morning, after all, we came to rest. And I was waiting for them to wake up. I came back and saw my son already playing with cars on the terrace.
– Oh, you’re already awake! And where is mom?
– Still sleeping, with Teddy!
– Who’s Teddy?
– The big one!
I quickly ran inside, because my son’s words scared me! Who the hell is Teddy? I opened the door and saw my wife sweetly hugging him – a big teddy bear. I even remembered that I had given him such a name, but the situation confused me. Then I breathed a sigh of relief and quietly closed the door.
When my wife woke up and heard this story, she laughed at me for a long time. That was our morning.
