My husband and me faced a financial problem that had a huge impact on our lives. We had to struggle to feed our families and were even unable to pay their tuition for one semester.

We had no other choice but to send them home. It was a hard decision.

After reading blogs about homeschooling, I decided to research it further. My husband and I decided to homeschool our daughters using the little knowledge we had.

The dining room was transformed into a classroom with lots of instructive and entertaining images.

A professional teacher from my family was able to give me the curriculum for each lesson. I created a schedule that included talk time with mommy, playtime, and time for fun.

This is how I started teaching my daughters at their home.

It was hard to teach, and it was also difficult to read the criticisms about homeschooling as unrealistic. I was able to make the most of this situation and had my own opinion.

After 3 months or a term of the academic session, I was able to score amazing marks. It was amazing to see my daughters achieve things I would never have imagined.

They were able to see the positive effects of homeschooling on their lives beyond academics. It had a profound impact on their spiritual and social lives.

I continued my homeschooling for over five years. My daughters are now 9 and 8. They are honest, courageous, self-assured and smart.

When speaking in public, people often ask “which school is it?”

They recently launched their children’s talkshow on all their social media platforms. Through my experiences and studies with my daughters, I have grown passionate about homeschooling.

These actions will bring about many positive changes.

In fact, I can say that my devotion to my children gave rise to a sense of purpose.

If we hadn’t accepted the challenge, I wouldn’t know that I have these strengths. It allowed me and my children to be our best selves.

The saying goes, “Challenges don’t break us; we make them.”
