A Parable: “Three Views of One Situation”
One morning, three women stood at a market stall in London, eyeing a display of apples.
The first sighed heavily.
“Look at these—small, bruised, and priced like they’re made of gold! Nothing decent left in the world these days. It’s all going downhill.”
The second smiled warmly.
“I think this year’s harvest is a blessing, honestly. The weather’s been so unpredictable, yet here they are—not perfect, but juicy. The farmers must’ve worked hard.”
The third quietly reached for her purse.
“My grandson’s poorly at home. He adores baked apples. Couldn’t care less how they look—just that they’re made with love.”
The moral?
We each see the world through our own story.
To one, they’re just bad apples.
To another, a chance to support someone’s hard work.
And to a third, a way to show care and warmth.
So before you judge—ask yourself where your heart’s standing when you look at the world.
