It happened to a good friend of mine. Let me start by saying that he used to work as a salesman for a long time. He always had interesting stories from the workplace, but this one was special. He was ready to tell it to anyone who would just say, “My dog…”
The following story will be told on his behalf.
It was an ordinary day, there were few people, so when the dog ran into the store, I laughed like my client. I wanted to throw him out. But I didn’t have time. He quickly slipped a note and money into my face. The note said “a loaf of bread and a kilogram of ribs.” The money was enough for everything. I packed everything in a bag and threw the change in there too. Then I gave it to the dog. He immediately grabbed everything with his teeth and carried it away. It all seemed so fantastic to me that I couldn’t resist closing the store to see where the dog went.
Then another surprise awaited me. The kid is so smart that he stopped at a pedestrian and waited for the green light. Our people could learn from him!
I shouldn’t have left the store for so long, but I just couldn’t stop watching the dog. It got to the point where I was waiting with him at the bus stop for the right bus, because he wouldn’t get on the first two. He even somehow understood that! After a few stops, he got off the bus and I followed him.
A moment later he ran to a house nearby, started knocking on the window and barking. I was so curious that I couldn’t help but watch. When no one opened the door, he started barking at the window on the neighboring side.
Finally, the old man opened the door for his faithful friend.
– “Have you lost your memory?” he asked, in a quarrelsome tone.
– “Don’t be angry with him!” I couldn’t help but say, and my grandfather looked at me in surprise. – “Your dog is a real genius!
– What kind of genius forgets to take the house keys with him? And this is the fifth time this month!
Each time my friend tells me this with such emotion, as if the dog had started talking to him.
