Capitan spent most of his life tied up outside his former owners’ house, as his duty was to guard the place. However, he did not receive adequate care, as according to people who saw his situation, sometimes he did not eat, when it rained he remained outside and if he got sick he did not receive medicine. They searched for his owners, but found no one, so they took the dog to the vet. There he started a general treatment, vaccines, basic care and improved his diet. When Capitán was completely healthy, they were able to take him to the shelter Caninos 911 and he stayed there for a year. His caregivers pushed for his adoption through a parade and he found a perfect home. At the adoption catwalk the dog was a little scared, but his simplicity in the parade made the family who adopted him fall in love with him. This is how Capitan found a loving home for him.
