Leila has lived in the village almost all her life. Here is her family, children, her house, her farm. Tired of everyday life, Leila dreams of living in the city. She studied there, so she dreams of city life. When you don’t have to look after the animals, everything is at hand. After work, you can relax and drink tea in peace.
It is not only about fatigue, but also about support from her husband. He does not take care of the children at all, and there are three of them, two of them are boys, and they can refuse to go to school, be naughty, and you need to deal with them. The only daughter helps her mother with the housekeeping, the kitchen and everything else. So, missing the city life, Leila had to go there for a few days, but not for a vacation, but to the hospital. She began to have acute pains near the stomach.
She endured for a few days, but then realized that something was wrong. And, to her surprise, her children and husband immediately agreed to send her to the city. Assuring her that everything would be fine, the family accompanied her to the station. Leila talked to her sister who lives in the city, and her sister was very happy to see her.
The first day in the city flew by quickly and unnoticed. The hospital, the examinations did not make her feel what she wanted for so long. Then the next day, when she got up, she did not know what to do. But Leila could not just lie there. No, she decided to cook breakfast, but when she opened the fridge, she realized that there was nothing to cook with. There were only eggs, so she decided to make an omelet.
The sister’s husband and the sister herself were in a slight shock at the breakfast table. But no one ate anything – except the children. It turns out that the couple does not have breakfast at home, but in a cafe.
Leila’s sister eats almost nothing because she is on a diet. It turned out the next day. After 3 days, Leila really wanted to go home. She did not understand this life and she did not like it all. Leila missed her home, her children, her joyful look when she saw the table set.
After 10 days her health was fine and she was very happy to return home. Her children and husband were waiting for her at home. She missed them very much during these days. And for her rural life too. After returning from the city, she began to do housework even more energetically, constantly cooking. But she did it all with love and with the understanding that she liked life in the countryside.
