Monika has been working as a cashier at the gas station for two years. It’s not an easy job, but she gets paid well. Monika also does volunteer work. That’s how she met her current boyfriend. He is also a volunteer.
Their relationship developed very quickly. The second week after they met, Mark moved in with her. The girl lived in an apartment given to her by her parents. Her mom and dad had been abroad for a long time, and the girl was raised by her grandmother.
So for the first month, their relationship was really perfect, but the next month, misunderstandings began to arise between the couple. However, Monika reassured herself that all couples do this, they get used to it. Everything will pass.
It was really hard for the girl, working and volunteering. The only thing she wanted was to rest for at least a few days. On Friday night, Monika returned from work, and they had a long talk, planning how they would spend the weekend. On Saturday, she had a day off. She woke up, but didn’t find Mark around. She thought that he didn’t want to wake her up, so he got ready so that she didn’t hear him. Monica made herself a cup of coffee, sat down at the table, and started to eat breakfast. Suddenly, she received a call from a coworker. She couldn’t make it to her shift due to a family emergency, so she called Monika to ask her to cover for her.
The girl could not refuse, so she decided to help her friend. She didn’t tell Mark about her going to work, and when she called him, he didn’t answer.
The day turned out to be very busy. Monika didn’t even have time to sit down. It was two o’clock when her boyfriend’s car pulled up to the gas station.
But what was even more surprising was that her Mark did not get out of the car alone, but with a woman. They were holding hands. Mark did not immediately notice his girlfriend. But Monika didn’t hesitate – she was the first to approach the guy. He opened his mouth in surprise. He couldn’t say anything, only asked what she was doing here, because she was supposed to be at home today.
The girl didn’t explain anything, just said that Mark had to vacate the apartment before she came, otherwise all her things would end up on the street.
She thought for a long time about why it had happened, but at the same time she was glad that she had not been weak in front of this man and had not forgiven him.
