– I never thought this would happen to me. The baby was born and our strong marriage began to come apart at the seams. I was already thinking about divorce. My husband distanced himself from me, started staying late at work and being rude. He can deliberately talk to his neighbor to avoid going home, even though he didn’t even say hello to him before,” complains Alina, 30. Alina married 10 years ago. And only now they have waited for a baby boy. They achieved everything on their own. They saved, took risks, paid off loans and gave away debts. But now they’re standing on their own two feet.
The couple dreamed of having a large family, so they were very worried when they did not succeed in getting pregnant for the first, second or third time. However, they gathered their will into a fist and kept moving forward toward their goal. Her husband’s optimism gave them hope, which is why Alina loved her husband. When they got tired of running around to doctors, they decided to do IVF. And right before the control test, the woman found out that she was pregnant. Pregnancy went easily and there were no health problems. But she decided to give birth in a private maternity hospital to insure herself. My daughter was born. A healthy and beautiful daughter. At first my husband seemed to be a good father, but then he started to withdraw less and less from his parental duties. A crisis in relations began.
It was just unclear what he lacked? The mortgage was closed, the debts were paid off, the child was healthy, his wife was beautiful. He had everything he wanted, but the joy had disappeared somewhere. The man did not live peacefully. Conflicts and nagging started. He told his wife that he was more tired than her, that the child – a woman’s concern, though before Alina had not heard such statements from him. Alina was tired by herself 24 hours a day with a child, because she had no helpers. They had a great relationship before the birth of their daughter, and then everything went wrong. There were two options: either wait it out or separate. Many marriages go through similar trials, but not all endure.
Alina’s husband also sees that their family is falling apart, but he does not want to divorce. The girl is trying her best to save her marriage, to make it to kindergarten, which should be easier. It’s hard to realize that the long-awaited baby has ruined love.
– I definitely do not dare to have a second child. I do not want to feel this cold and indifferent husband – admits Alina.
