Sister copies her mother’s behavior – she hides good shampoo from her daughter

My mother always bought herself a separate shampoo, some expensive and with balm. My sister and I used to wash our hair with the cheapest one called “Nettle”. It made our long hair tangle and look dull and ungroomed. We had to comb for hours to untangle our mane.

For my sister’s twelfth birthday, my aunt gave her sister a baby cosmetics kit. There were all sorts of interesting things in there, including a good shampoo. And what do you think? Mom took it away. Helena cried for a long time, and I comforted her.

We really wanted to wash our hair with shampoo that smells good and makes hair manageable. One day I decided to commit a crime – I poured the shampoo secretly and washed my hair with it. It was heaven and earth. My hair was transformed in an instant, even my mother noticed the effect. Naturally, I got my ass kicked. After the tenth smack, I decided to ask my mom why she wouldn’t let us wash our hair with normal shampoo.

You have long hair, you use a lot, and it costs a lot, – my mother replied.

I think it’s like eating delicacies yourself and feeding the kids instant noodles. I turned in bottles and saved up money for shampoo. Within a month, I had a beautifully scented jar of shampoo on my shelf. My mother praised me.

It’s been quite a few years now – my sister and I have long since grown up. Now I can afford expensive cosmetics for hair, although a special fetish for the products for themselves did not notice. My sister, on the other hand, copies her mother’s behavior – she hides good shampoo from her daughter.

Her niece washes her hair with an incomprehensible substance from a doy-pack. And Helena keeps her good stuff in the bedroom so her daughter can’t get to it. When I found out about this, I immediately remembered our suffering as children. I took and gave her a whole hair care kit. My sister took it away from my daughter.

I tried to talk to Helena, but it didn’t work. She thinks that we should bring up our children the way we were brought up. My sister is sure that this is how she teaches her daughter to be economical and frugal.

I also have a daughter – she has her own shampoos, more expensive than mine. I never hide anything from her, because I remember the feelings that overwhelmed me as a child. I do not know how you can rat and infringe on your child. I guess I’ll never understand it.
