Sandra is my old friend. She has three children – a son and two daughters.
She has not been in touch with one of her daughters for a long time because she married a village boy and moved to him. Sandra was very offended by her daughter and did not even go to the wedding. She did not like her son-in-law right away and called him a village boy. Instead, everything turned out quite well for her daughter. They have been living with her husband for eight years, working, and they already have four children.
At that time, Sandra’s other daughter and son were studying at the university together. The daughter got a job after graduation, and the son was going to get married. His favorite girl was five years older than him. The son was head over heels in love with her. But Sandra did not love her from the very first meeting.
They decided not to arrange a wedding, just got married in the registry office. At first they had a room in a dormitory, a year later they managed to buy an apartment with a mortgage. The newlyweds were doing well, but Sandra could not calm down. Every day she thought how to divorce her son from this woman. Sandra kept telling her daughter-in-law that her son was not capable of anything and that he would not be able to feed the family in the future. After a few months they finally filed for divorce.
Later, the son got married for the second time. The girl was his age and they worked together. The second daughter-in-law was an orphan. Sandra again began to talk to the girl about her son, and after a while he separated from his second wife.
When Sandra’s son was thirty-four years old, a third woman appeared in his life, who turned out to be ideal for his mother, because she earned a lot and was from a rich family. The daughter-in-law cooked well and coped with all the household duties. But then the third daughter-in-law’s sister fell ill and needed a serious operation. The girl paid all the expenses for it and helped her sister in everything. Sandra rebelled again about this.
After the third divorce, the son started drinking and moved to his mother. Sandra realized her mistake, but it was too late. The son completely drank and became an alcoholic.
