Gregory and Rose have been married for 5 years. They had a wonderful 3-year-old daughter, Lisa, who was already in kindergarten and loved to meet new people.
Recently, the family moved to their own apartment, because before that they lived with Gregory’s parents.
– I wish we had good neighbors, – Rose said dreamily before going to bed.
– Yes, I hope so, – Gregory replied, hugging his wife tightly.
A week later, Rose met her neighbor on her landing. It was her old friend Tina, with whom they studied in different groups at the university, but did not communicate particularly closely.
– How you’ve changed! – Tina said hugging her old friend, “maybe you’ll come to visit? Tell me how your life is going.
– How about tomorrow morning, I’ll come to see you? – Rose asked, – we’ll talk to our hearts’ content!
So the friends met the next day. It turned out that Tina could not get pregnant for a long time, and then doctors gave her a disappointing diagnosis, so Tina and her husband decided to adopt a child. When the woman saw all the children in the orphanage, she could not choose one, quit her job and got a job as a teacher in the orphanage.
– Now I have not one child, but 31!” – Tina laughed.
She did adopt one boy. It was 8-year-old Tom, who at the time of the conversation between the two women was at school and was about to return.
– And here is Tom – Tina happily jumped up from her seat – meet my son, this is Aunt Rose. We studied at the same university, and recently she and her family moved to the apartment next door, can you imagine?

8 years ago Rose broke up with her boyfriend and later she found out she was pregnant. She did not make any plans with the guy, so she did not want to tell him anything. But when the girl went to the doctor with a request, she was told that it was too late. All that remained was to give birth.
Rose left her son in the maternity hospital without even signing any documents. She knew nothing about the boy. And 8 years later he, so similar to her, found his mother on his own. Rose could neither eat nor drink. Every time Tom played with Lisa and said he wanted a little sister, Rose’s heart bled.
Rose could no longer stand and suppress her emotions when she saw Tom. She decided to move to another apartment. But how to persuade her husband? Rose decided to resort to extreme measures. She started to be jealous of Tina and then announced that she would file for divorce.
Gregory agreed to move to another house to save the marriage. Everything seems to have worked out, but at the same time, Tom is already 17 and Rose still often goes to his house and secretly follows him. Why does she do it? She doesn’t know.
