It often happens in life that everything accumulates. And you don’t even know how to deal with it. Then we try to get rid of what prevents us from living peacefully. It’s a pity, but sometimes it’s our family members. Having grown up, few of us remember how our parents cared and gave their love when we were little. We stop being grateful and completely forget that our relatives also need support and care.
Richard had a lot of problems. He has an unemployed wife, a daughter and a sick mother.
A month passed. It was cramped for them to live together. And the wife never missed an opportunity to remind him that they were having a hard time themselves, and then the mother-in-law fell on their heads. Then they agreed that it would be best to take my mother to a nursing home. They would look after her there, and most importantly, there would be more space.
So my husband took my mom and drove her there. She was silent the whole way. Of course, she didn’t understand how it was possible that people in trouble stick together, but her son, on the contrary, decided to get rid of his closest person. But the daughter he took with him rode the whole way and cheerfully asked her father about something.
And then, looking at her grandmother, she said:
– “Dad, what is the address of that house?
– What house, daughter?
– Well… Where you are taking our grandmother.
– What do you want to do?
– You’re going to be old one day, too, so I’m bringing you here.
The man stopped the car. He definitely did not expect to hear such words from his daughter. In that moment, Richard
felt the pain that his mom had been feeling all along the way.
Then the man turned around and drove home. It was cramped, but his mother was there. He apologized to her for wanting to leave his dearest one in a nursing home. And in a strange city. On the contrary, in such a difficult time, they should stay together. If it wasn’t for his daughter, he would have done something stupid.
