Diego Aparecido Teodoro, 31, had an extraordinary attitude in being able to act quickly when Chloe, a Pomeranian lulu dog, ended up escaping from her owner and running towards the exit of the pet store where he has been working for 15 years. The case occurred on January 10 in Joinville, Santa Catarina, at the Arc Pets Pets Petshop&Agropecuária pet store.
According to Maisa Isabela, owner of the establishment, the result of the escape could have been tragic if Diego had not acted in time, since the pet store is located on a busy avenue. Therefore, the man’s attitude of throwing himself to the ground saved the animal’s life. “He managed to make a gigantic save,” joked the pet store owner. The guardian on the scene couldn’t restrain her and go after her because he had another dog tied up.
“He decided to retreat and wait for service in a corner of the store because Chloe is very playful, very hyperactive. The manager just heard the customer say: take it, take it, take it, take it,” he explained.
The security camera video was shared on Tik Tok and received more than half a million views, 56,200 likes and more than 200 comments.
“At the job interview: just bathe and pet. Reality:,” joked one netizen.
“Clean dog with food 24 hours. But see a door; bye-bye,” commented another.
“I’m the receptionist in my life, I’m shitting myself laughing,” said Ane.
That employee deserves a raise or at the very least recognition. As the caption of the post says: Chloe, this time your escape didn’t work. And I hope it never does, because there are dangers in the street.
