On the Seaside, a Mysterious Stranger Approached Me—And I Noticed a Mole Beneath His Left Ear. Suddenly, My Uncle’s Words Echoed: “You’ll Meet Your Soulmate by the Sea.”

So, when I was saying goodbye to my brother at King’s Cross Station, my mum was quite emotional, fearing it might be the last time she’d see him in this world, considering her age. Wanting desperately to see my brother and sister one last time, I set off on my journey. First, I dropped by to visit my uncle, and after that, we were headed for my aunt’s place.

My uncle couldn’t help but crack a joke about my upcoming wedding, which was only six months away, and I jokingly invited him along. He warned me to watch out, pointing to a birthmark on his arm as he did. The weather was absolutely lovely.

When we arrived, Aunt Alice and her husband greeted us warmly. The next morning, my younger cousin Olivia and I thought we’d make the most of the seaside. After splashing about for a bit, we went back home for lunch. Olivia was a bit tired and wanted to rest, but she changed her mind quickly and convinced me to head out to the sea again with her then suggested we catch a film afterwards.

When we came out of the water, two young lads walked up to us and asked how to get to a certain street. Olivia gave them directions, while the other guy sized me up and asked, “Excuse me, is your name Emily?”

I was a bit taken aback, so I raised an eyebrow, and he quickly added, “You live in London and you’ve got a mate called Sophie, who’s my sister. I’ve seen your photos with her and was curious to meet you.” Thats when I noticed he had a birthmark on his arm, just like my uncle. We all decided to go to the movies together, and later took a leisurely stroll along the shore.

As we said our goodbyes, he mentioned that he and his friend were wrapping up their business trip and heading home the next day. He asked if he could call me and for my phone number, and I said yes. Ten days later, he met up with me and my mum at Heathrow. Six months on, we got married.
