Now there are two hostesses in my kitchen and it looks like a madhouse! It looks like my son’s birthday is not going to go away!

Recently, my husband, children and I moved to live with his mother in the village. At first everything was fine, we had nothing to quarrel about.

And now, on my son’s 1st birthday, I decided to make a real celebration. I started looking for interesting recipes, making a menu, and writing a list of necessary products. This is where my little conflicts with my mother-in-law began, but I didn’t pay much attention to them, I continued to buy the necessary products, talk to my neighbors and they would give me something for free, go somewhere to buy something on a special offer, or save money. My mother-in-law saw how I was constantly buying everything and preparing diligently and remained silent until she looked at my menu…

To be honest, before all these events, we had a great relationship, almost like daughters with their mothers, maybe because we saw each other only on holidays, and now we have to live together

– “Come to your senses!” my mother-in-law shouted at me, and then turned to my husband, “Well, did you see what she wrote there? Where are the normal dishes? What are people going to eat? There’s no jelly, no cabbage rolls… there’s not even olivier! People have to eat her squid? What is this? Since when is there anything better on the Internet than your mom has been cooking for years?

She was screaming so loud that all the neighbors could hear, and now I don’t know where to hide my eyes from them.

It’s three days before my son’s birthday, and we still don’t talk to my mother-in-law, she prepares her dishes and I prepare mine, so now I don’t know how the celebration will go…
