My sister and her boyfriend are kicking me out of my own apartment. But don’t let them get their hopes up that I will give in to them

I found myself in a rather unpleasant situation. Now I have no idea what to do. Until now, my sister and I have been living in an apartment that our mother inherited. Unfortunately, she has long since passed away. Many years ago, my mother became seriously ill. In a short time, she passed away. My sister and I had a hard time dealing with the loss of our mother, because she was our only family member. We inherited the apartment where we were born and raised. It was a spacious two-room apartment in the city center. Of course, such housing is not cheap nowadays.

After my mother’s death, we stayed in this apartment together. My sister and I do not remember our father. He died in a car accident when we were very young. But my mother did everything she could to make sure we didn’t feel in need of anything.

We hadn’t even lived in the apartment for a year when my sister found a fiancé. One day she called me for a conversation. My sister asked me to let her and her boyfriend live in our apartment. I wasn’t thrilled with the idea, because he was supposed to provide housing for his sister, not the other way around. However, I realized that my sister had the same rights to this apartment as I did. We had enough space, so I agreed. At first, it was good for us to live together.

But recently my sister told me she was pregnant. That was the reason for a serious talk with them, because I didn’t really want to hear the noise and the children crying. Their family is their concern. My sister’s fiancé has to make sure that their unborn child has a place to live. I don’t want to listen to children crying and not sleep at night when I’m nineteen. Then my sister offered me to sell our apartment and buy two one-room apartments instead. I didn’t like this option at all, I’m used to living in the center with comfort. Moreover, my university is close by.

Yesterday, my sister’s boyfriend interfered in our argument. He told me to pack my things and move in with my boyfriend. Yes, I do have a boyfriend. However, he is much more promising than my sister’s chosen one. But that’s no reason to give up my apartment to him. I’m not going to sacrifice my own comfort for someone else’s benefit. I have the same rights to it as my sister. This situation irritates me a lot. If I move out, they will think that the apartment belongs only to them and forget that I am its owner too. What should I do?
