I don’t understand people who come to visit uninvited. My husband’s brother is such a person. Recently, my husband’s brother came to visit us and planned to stay with us for about six months. If it was for a couple of days, I would have understood, but six months was too much. I was furious. We were already cramped. Two days after his arrival, my husband advised his brother to move to his parents’ house. By the way, no one lived there, as my parents lived in the countryside, far away from the city noise. But my brother didn’t agree: he thought we were fine. I don’t like him at all, he has a cruel temper and likes to boss everyone around.
And when my husband suggested that he move, he started shouting at my brother, saying that he was kicking his blood relative out of his house. My husband began to explain to him that we were already used to living separately, and that it was simply impossible for the three of us to live in a one-room apartment. In response, he looked at the man and said: “Who will cook my dinner, wash my clothes, iron my clothes?” What a nerve: he thinks I should serve him as a maid. They quarreled, and my husband never managed to bring the conversation to a logical end. My husband does not like to quarrel, to make scandals, especially with relatives.
The next day, I saw that my husband had received a call from his mother, who began to reproach him for putting his brother out on the street. I noticed that his hand was shaking with anger. I decided to talk to my husband’s brother, even though I thought he was not in his right mind. He answered me sharply that this was his brother’s house and he had the right to be here. He decided that if he was going to live with us, he would live with us, and this was not discussed. I packed my things and went to my mom’s place. And my husband rented a hotel room. We had no other choice. How can you be so impudent?
