My husband and I have been together for 10 years, six of which we are officially married. During that time we became parents twice – our elder son is 9 years old and our younger son is 5 months old.
We live in a two-room apartment, which I inherited from my grandmother. It’s an old khrushchevka, but it’s my own.
Our son is going to have a birthday party. We decided to celebrate at home, since money is tight at the moment. And then a conflict broke out. My relatives can not come, but my husband’s relatives are rushing to us all together, and even plan to stay overnight. Where do I put them all?
I am not accustomed to such guests. They come to visit for a few hours, and don’t stay overnight. If you really want to stay in our town, the hotel is open 24 hours a day.
It was because of him that we fought, we even decided to live separately for a while. Why am I so principled? To begin with, my in-laws are not clean – they wash once a week. Can you just imagine what smell will be in the apartment, if they spend the night with us. And I have kids! Moreover, why stay overnight if they live nearby? Am I right or not?
My husband is sure I can’t do it without him. Well, we’ll see…
