The reality is that my second wife ended up finding herself a loveran affluent businessman who settled here years ago and eventually opened a little café in our town. She tried to keep their affair secret at first, but before long they werent even bothering to hide it.
Eventually, she confronted me directly, telling me she was filing for divorce and intended to claim half of our house. She expected Id get anxious or upset, but the house had been bought solely with my own honest earnings. My ex-wife had no real claim to it, except the two years she lived there. Now she had the audacity to demand half.
I managed to stay calm through it all. I didnt try to talk her out of going to courtjust waited patiently for her to lose the case and pay the legal fees.
