Mark was born in a village and spent his entire childhood there. He was raised by his mother because his father died while working in the forest when she was pregnant. Mark grew up a kind and well-mannered boy. When he turned 18, he went to the city to get a profession. However, all his relatives dissuaded him from this trip: they said that he could find a job in the village. But he did not listen to anyone.
His mother didn’t want to let him go either, because he was her only support and backbone. Mark graduated from college and learned to be a car mechanic. He started working and sent most of his earnings to his mother. He got married, but divorced after 5 years. His wife did not appreciate him, saying that he did not have enough money. But Mark was appreciated by his friends and relatives. But he did not like the city. He could not live in places where all issues were solved by money.
His mother would listen to him on the phone and say: “Then go back to the village. There is plenty of work here. And if you’re thinking of finding a wife, Rebecca is a good one for you. Mark also liked Rebecca, but his second wife was also from the city. She left him for another man, also because of a lack of money. Now Mark is 40 years old. He went to the village and got a job at a sawmill. But the most important thing is that he is happy. He finally realized the meaning of the saying “where you were born, you were made for”. He married Rebecca. They had their first child. But the most important thing for Mark is that his mother is happy.
