Mark was sitting at work unusually quiet. He was not in the mood. Just today, the man realized that family life was burdening him. Just recently he rejoiced when Lucy agreed to marry him.
Then the birth of his daughter Mary. Mark was proud to have a complete family. But everything slowly faded away. Lucy gained weight when she was pregnant, but after Mary was born she never lost weight. She did not even take care of herself. She wore a dressing gown all day, did not do her hair.
