I left my wife and found new love! Enough of this drama!
Greetings to everyone reading these words!
I want to share my story—a tale free from tears, pain, and regrets.
No, this is not a confession of a wretched soul; it’s more of a fairytale. Even now, I can hardly believe this has all happened to me.
I was married for ten long years. A decade spent with a woman who was unfaithful, treated me like a servant, and had no respect for my feelings or my dignity.
I endured it all. I thought this was the way it had to be. I believed that family was about obligations rather than just happiness.
But one day, I realized I was worn out.
So, I simply decided to leave.
I went away to clear my mind.
I didn’t create scenes or make a fuss. I packed my belongings and headed to a quaint little hotel in the countryside.
I yearned for peace and wanted to feel free, even if just for a few days.
I turned off my phone. I didn’t care if my wife noticed I was gone or not.
I simply wanted to exhale.
In the evening, I wandered down to the hotel restaurant, ordered dinner, and savored those rare moments of tranquility.
And then, I saw her.
A chance meeting when I least expected it.
She was sitting at the table next to mine—beautiful yet clearly lost in thought.
Her face bore a sad expression, her eyes tired and worn.
I found myself wondering: perhaps she had her own problems, far more serious than mine?
I hadn’t intended to meet anyone, but fate had other plans.
When she stood up and walked towards the lift, I found myself standing as well.
It turned out we were headed to the same floor.
But then the lift suddenly got stuck.
An elevator malfunction and a fateful encounter.
She was frightened.
I noticed her hands trembling, her breath quickened.
I simply took her hand and gently said, “It’s alright. We’ll get out.”
She looked at me.
And then I embraced her.
We stood silently in the dark of the stalled elevator, and for the first time in ages, I felt truly at peace.
When we were finally freed, we laughed.
We introduced ourselves.
Her name was Victoria.
A new chapter in my life.
Before she entered her room, she turned and asked, “Shall we have breakfast together tomorrow?”
“Of course,” I replied.
From that day forward, we were inseparable.
I never thought it could be so easy to find true love.
With her, I feel genuine. Alive. Free.
I’ve finally understood: life doesn’t have to be a constant drama.
Sometimes, all it takes is to take that first step, and fate will show you the way forward.
Now I know: my fairytale is just beginning, and may it last for as long as possible.
