Laura’s son caught a cold, the temperature did not decrease. At night, the boy asked his mother for oranges. They were not at home, and it was too late to go to the store. Laura decided that she would quickly run and come back. She did not want to refuse her little son.
She locked her five-year-old son in the apartment and ran to the store. Laura went to a distant store to buy oranges. On her way back home, she decided to take a shortcut. She was stopped by three men, they were drunk.
– What a hot girl. Where are you going? – one of the men said and blocked her way. Laura was scared, but not for herself, but for her son. He was at home alone, and if something happened to her, it is unknown how long he would have to stay at home alone, and even sick.
– Please let me through, my little son is waiting at home. Please, – Laura said, almost crying.
– Why hurry? The boy will wait. Would you like something to drink? We have such a good drink, you won’t regret it, – the second man laughed.
Laura tried to pass, but one of the men pressed her against the wall. He started groping her, and she tried to get out, but she couldn’t.
– Where are you going? We’ll just do a quick job and then you can go.
– Help! – Laura tried to shout, but a hand was pressed over her mouth.
– What are you doing? – came a loud voice behind the men.
– Mind your own business. Or do you want to have some fun too? Then get in line. – Said the one holding Laura by the mouth.
The man swung and hit the scoundrel. A fight started, three beaten men ran in different directions, and Laura could not come to her senses.
– Why do you go to dark places? If I had not stayed in my garage, what would have happened to you? You should be more careful, – the man said. He walked Laura into the house. He made sure she was okay and said goodbye.
A week later, Laura met her rescuer in the store. He suggested that the three of them go to the cinema in the morning. The man quickly became friends with Laura’s son and they started dating.
