A little dog named Laika Fidelis became a sensation on social networks, on the first day of the year, after appearing enjoying a beach in Florianopolis wearing sunglasses and a hat. The dog was sitting quietly on a beach chair enjoying the warmth of Canasvieiras beach in the city of Santa Catarina, when she was “interviewed” by the team of reporters from TV Globo.
NSC TV’s Jornal do Lunch program was showing the audience at home what the first sunny day of the year was like. That’s when, in a live cue, reporter Edsoul Amaral caught the iconic dog and decided to ask her guardian what she was doing there. “She’s nine years old, but all the people passing by want to take pictures with her. This is Laika. Hat, glasses, she’s like this,” the owner said.
“You spent your shift enjoying yourself too much, didn’t you? Look how cute. The breed is a Labrador, isn’t it?” he added as the cameraman filmed the little dog.
“That’s all, every year she wants to come to the sea, no matter the place, but what she likes are the beaches of Floripa,” said her guardian named Valdemir.
“Even in the United States there is already a picture of her,” the 82-year-old woman interjected in the interview.
It is clear that the unusual scene ended up being the target of many comments by Internet users on the network, even making memes and comparing it to a scene from Scooby-Doo. The dog with the sunglasses and hat! hahahaha, will it be the first meme of 2022?
