Julia was walking home very tired. She had never had such a blockage at work before. She unlocked her phone, called Howard:
– You rang?
-Yeah, is it hard to answer or what?
– Sorry, I was at work, it was a mess, I didn’t have a free minute.
– Forget it. We’ll talk during the meeting.
Julia hung up. I had a strange feeling. What kind of relationship do they have? After all, Howard himself does this when he is at work, so why is he offended by her now?
The girl got on the bus, leaned on the window and went into her thoughts. The rain outside the window allowed her to switch off a little. She saw cute couples walking in an embrace. She smiled, and mentally wished them happiness.
She didn’t have that with Howard. They both seemed to be in a serious mood, but something was going wrong. If she left him now, who would she find? And suddenly she saw Howard on the street: he was walking with an unfamiliar girl under an umbrella and hugging her tightly around the waist. The girl could hardly hold back her tears. She took out her phone and wrote to Howard that she did not want to see him. When she got home, she called her friend.
– Listen, do not despair and do not doubt. Leave him as soon as possible. You are still young and beautiful, you will find your love.
– How can I find love if I’m stuck at work all day?
– So find someone from work. Don’t you have the Internet?
Strangely enough, my friend was right. Why does she hold on to a man who does not appreciate her, and when she disappears at work to earn money for the family – he cheats on her. From that moment on, life changed dramatically.
“Good thing I called my friend” – Julia thought, and opened a new chapter in the book of her life.
