Jessica came from a place where a one-bedroom apartment cost pennies. She bought such an apartment, but her husband knew nothing about it. -While my husband was away on business, our baby was born. I gave birth in a regular maternity hospital, but I just told him that in the elite … And anyway: the money that her husband sent for groceries, Jessica spent very sparingly. When her husband was home, the refrigerator was full of meat, fish, and all sorts of delicacies. But when he went away, the savings continued.
-I never bought things for my daughter. Either kind people helped, or I found something on cheap websites. That’s how I managed to save for an apartment. Jessica often called her mother to babysit while she secretly went to work. Her husband himself was to blame. Jessica was the perfect match for him. She dutifully did everything he asked. After all, she was from the backwoods, and her husband was a city man, constantly bossing her around. And one day Jessica began to prepare to run away. She understood that one day her husband would simply not calculate the force of the blow – and that would be the end.
-I was also constantly manipulating my shopping. I would take my daughter a couple of apples and tell my husband that I bought a kilo. It took Jessica two and a half years to accumulate the right amount. – Once again, when my husband went on a business trip, I packed up my things and my daughter and we ran away. The day before I filed for divorce. My husband tried to get them back. He called and assured me that now her family life would be unclouded. But there were times when he called threateningly, promising that he would never give up his goal of getting them back at any cost.
-Soon I found out he had a new fling. He found some college girl. I’m sure he’s doing the same thing to her as he did to me. -I didn’t cheat on my husband. The money I saved could be considered earned. After all, I starved myself to raise the necessary amount. And also – I had no way out. I just had to save myself and my only daughter.
