Everyone got used to the fact that you can ask Jane for any help, and she will never refuse. Over time, they even began to use her kindness and wide soul. They began not to ask, but to demand. And Jane’s character was always soft, at work and in the family she could not refuse anyone, she wanted to help everyone. Therefore, it so happened that she works harder than anyone else at work, and then she has to go to her daughter and look after her grandson.
At the same time, she is responsible for the whole household in her own house, despite the fact that her husband retired and stays at home. Jane has been spinning almost all her life like a squirrel in a wheel, so it is not surprising that she has so many sores. During the last examination, the doctor strictly stated that she just needed a rest. Then for the first time in her life Jane decided to make a choice in her favor.
She asked for a vacation at work. The boss did not want to let her go, but Jane threatened to quit if she was not allowed to rest for a month. She had been working for seven years without a vacation. They did not want to lose such a valuable employee and a good specialist, so they reluctantly let her rest a little.
– Mom went completely crazy in her old age, – the daughter was indignant, – spat on everyone and left. Who will look after my son now? I will have to hire a nanny, because I come home from work late. And I do not want to leave the child with a stranger, and it costs a lot of money. My father is also unhappy. Now he has to cook and clean himself, and he is not used to it at all!
Jane warned everyone about her decision a month ago, but no one took it seriously.
