We bought this old house in March last year. A large plot, a river with a forest nearby, fresh air. The house was only fifteen kilometers from the city. In the spring, I planted a garden for myself, and my husband and I decided to put the house in order. So, in the summer we started repairing the house.
We started to get to know our neighbors, and we were told that there was a very interesting woman living to our right. She was young, beautiful, and actively looking for a husband. Adam is handsome, and I’m not the only one who looks at him, but I’m more than confident in his loyalty. So I listened to the neighbors, but I didn’t worry too much. We started to make a fence, as the old one was barely holding up.
My husband started doing everything himself. It was a Saturday, I got ready and went to the market, my husband had a job near the house. I got on the bus and realized that I had forgotten my wallet, so I had to go back. Near our house, I saw the same neighbor I had been warned about. She was wearing a satin lace robe. In our yard. And most importantly, running as fast as she could to the exit. I stared and could not understand anything.
My husband was walking behind her and could hardly contain his laughter. He saw that I was not laughing at all, so he started telling me everything.
It turned out that as soon as I left the house, that neighbor did not hesitate for long and was in the yard of our house in five minutes. No wonder the neighbors had warned me about her. Although from the very beginning I noticed how she looked at my Adam. However, he ignored her all the time. And if he talked to her, it was dry and without any jokes or emotions.
So she came and started courting my husband, thinking he would immediately throw himself into her arms. It did not happen as expected. That day, we hired two more workers to carry buckets of cement, although the guys seemed to have had a good drink in the morning. The man promised them a lot of money for their work. So they worked.
And as soon as the neighbor appeared in the yard, Adam took her by the hand and led her to the boys without hesitation. She probably thought he was going to drag her inside. But he didn’t.
The man, holding his neighbor’s hands, said:
– “Guys, what about this reward?
She slapped me so hard that I lost my slippers. I haven’t laughed like that in a long time. You made me laugh. I wasn’t surprised that my husband didn’t fall for it. We truly love each other.
However, this story did not end there. She kept trying to get Adam’s attention, and he didn’t think twice about it – he said he would call the workers for help if she really wanted a man. Now she doesn’t touch us anymore. And when she sees us, she walks away.
