Although we may think that larger animals by genetics will be aggressive with weaker ones, it is not a rule, so many times we can be wrong. Sometimes, pets can show some sensitivity, the same sensitivity they show every day when taking care of us and being with us in our home. In this case, we will talk about the relationship between a pigeon and a Labrador, something that happened by chance when the bird needed help.
All this happened in Russia, in the home of lawyer Viktoriya Belostotskaya who was filming her dog Yunona while watching the window as she usually does. Only at that moment something interesting happened, she saw that a bird had approached the dog. At first she was frightened for the pigeon’s welfare, but she saw that Yunona was calm and showed no intention of harming it.
When he checked the bird, he could see that its feet were dirty and bruised, so he decided to help it, cleaned it up and placed it at the window to be free. The thing is that he became attached to the dog, apparently he enjoyed the warmth emanating from the large body of this canine.
Meanwhile, the dog remained calm, continued to enjoy the scenery and was aware of all the pedestrians and vehicles passing by. Her owner captioned the video, “Why fly away from where you feel happy?”, something that made a lot of sense to many seeing the confidence she developed in the dog. Truth be told, the dog did not have much interaction with the bird, perhaps it was this calmness that allowed him to feel at ease, between her paws and close to her body.
Users congratulated Yunona and her caretaker for taking care of the bird together, each in their own way showed great kindness for a living being that lives on the streets and was injured. Even if it was unconsciously, the dog was not aggressive, perhaps he understood that the bird was alone and his company was positive.
