One evening, when the hospital in London lay quiet, a sudden cry shattered the stillness. The doctors rushed toward the sound, only to witness a sight that left them stunned.
Beneath the dim glow of the empty reception hall, silence was broken by soft but purposeful footsteps. The on-duty physician glanced up from his papers and hurried toward the noise, the nurse close behind, both desperate to uncover its cause.
When they reached the entrance, all seemed calmuntil movement in the shadows caught their eyes. A figure approached, steady and silent.
They switched on the light, revealing a disciplined Alsatian. Clutched gently in its jaws was a carefully wrapped parcel, stained with dark crimson. The nurses breath hitched. Every step the dog took was deliberate, as though guided by unseen precision.
As it drew near, the Alsatian laid the bundle at their feet and let out a sharp barka plea for haste.
