I’m 28 years old. I am married, and my husband and I have a five-year-old son. We live in my small studio apartment. Things are going very well with Andrew. We understand each other perfectly and love each other very much.

I was stunned when I heard all this: why do I have to register my own apartment to my mother-in-law? And if we suddenly divorce, then what will I be left with? After all, if we buy an apartment, it will already be in our joint ownership. And this apartment is only mine.

I looked at my mother-in-law with amazement: that is, my mother-in-law would just give one son half the money, and my husband and I would get half the money, but at the same time she demanded my apartment from me. How is that fair?! Andrew tried to calm me down. He said he wasn’t going to divorce me and that he loved me very much.

And I think: “It’s now he’s not going to divorce me and loves me. And what will happen after that, you never know!” But when I told Andrew about this, he took offense at me. He said I didn’t trust him. After that our relationship became very tense.

I don’t know what to do now. Maybe I should still accept the offer of mother-in-law, to improve relations with her husband and save our marriage?
