I’ve been missing socializing lately, so I started visiting dating sites. A nice guy started writing to me on one of them. In his photo, it was clear that he was tall and had a sporty, pumped-up body. I’ve never been a fan of such men, they rather repelled me, but here everything was different. He wrote to me every day, took an interest in me, so when he asked me to go for a walk together for the third time, I agreed. It was a sunny day and I had a day off, so it was a great idea.
We met in the park, walked around and decided to go to a cafe because we were both hungry. The meeting was quite strange. I was simultaneously attracted to this guy and repulsed by him, and I couldn’t understand why it was happening.
We went to a cafe near the park, chose a free table, quickly ordered and continued talking.
At one point, I turned my attention to a little Gypsy boy. He stood by our window and watched us eat, licking his lips. My heart ached, but my companion started waving his hands and banging on the window to drive the child away. Why was he doing this? Perhaps he didn’t like to be looked at, or he was angry that I paid attention to him. I felt so sorry for the innocent child that I invited him to sit down with a hand gesture. At first, he shook his head in denial, but I picked up a plate of food and he quickly ran over. I sat him down next to me, quickly ordered a plate of borscht, and then dessert. The cub ate, thanked me, and ran away. All this time, my companion was looking at me with anger, and when the kid was gone, he started screaming: “Why did you invite a dirty poor Gypsy here? Do you think I should pay for him now?”
I went to the waitress and paid our joint bill, then turned to the “man” and said: “You are the poor gypsy I came here with! But besides that, you have pus inside you!”
This incident disappointed me so much in dating sites that I don’t plan to go there anymore. I’d rather go out on my own and go to cafes than with such petty and rotten people.
What do you think about this situation?
