I remained silent. But my patience broke when it was my birthday. My mother-in-law gave me a universal bath cleaner. That’s when I decided to get back at her. It was her birthday a week ago. One day I went into her bathroom and saw a bloom in the toilet. The first thing that came to mind was how could my perfect mother-in-law have this? I didn’t hesitate to give her a gift – I gave her a line of good cleaning products with words:
– “Everything should shine on a good hostess. Mom, your toilet is not very clean!
You should have seen the way she looked at me at that moment. I had never seen my mother like that before. She didn’t even thank me.
When everyone left, she started:
– “How dare you humiliate me like that in front of guests?
– What’s there to humiliate? You are a perfect hostess, which means that everything should be clean. This line of products costs a lot, you’ll definitely like it!” I continued, and then took her husband and left her house.
I think I did the right thing. My mother-in-law won’t bother me with her preaching anymore.
