I was happy until my last breath, my beloved!

When I was walking down the aisle to my husband in my wedding dress, I was so happy that I was convinced that it would always be like this, because we had true love. But I was.

After the wedding, my husband and I found a house in the village, which we soon bought, renovated and arranged it to our own taste. At that time, I had already become pregnant and we were looking forward to having a new baby. And when she was born, our happiness seemed to double.

While I was on maternity leave, my husband worked alone and did everything he could to give me and my daughter the best. In turn, I constantly showed him my love and supported him as much as I could.

When my husband realized that he was not earning enough at his old job, he got a job as a laborer at a construction site. And the most important thing is that he liked this job.

One day I got a call from his director. I don’t even remember how I got his number.

– “Good afternoon, your husband fell from the scaffolding, the doctors took him away, but… He is no longer among us.

At first I thought it was a joke, but no one behind me was laughing. I quickly took my daughter to a neighbor’s house and ran in what I was wearing, quickly called a taxi and went to the hospital. At the hospital, I was not myself anymore, the doctors had to inject me with a sedative.

I couldn’t control myself. I was screaming that this was supposed to be our happy day, because I had found out I was pregnant, but now I had no one to tell. He was gone.

At the funeral, I was so heavily sedated that I don’t remember much. The next day, I woke up thinking that I didn’t want to wake up in a world without him… At that moment, my daughter screamed from the next room and I got up, remembering that soon I would have another little person from my beloved husband. And these two have only their mother, so I had to be strong.

After 6 months, I gave birth to a son, named him after my husband, and the more he grows up now, the more he looks like his dad.

It was hard to cope with two children, so sometimes my in-laws or my parents came to visit me. They helped me financially while I was on maternity leave, because money for children is a pittance.

Looking back at myself in my wedding dress, I can say one thing – I was really happy until my beloved’s last breath!
