Eva came to the city when she was entering the medical university. Right at the train station she met her destiny – David. He immediately liked the girl, and they went to the university together. Coincidentally, he also studied there, he was already a third-year student.
After a hard session, the young couple began to see each other more often. They used to walk all night long, and six months later they got married. Both worked in the same hospital, David had a one-room apartment, so they lived happily. But years passed, and Eva could not get pregnant.
– It’s okay, you and I have so many years ahead of us, – her husband reassured her. – You are nervous all the time, it also affects you, and you have a lot of work, – he said.
But one summer Eva felt completely uncomfortable. It was too hot, everyone was annoying, and the smells were annoying. She wanted to go somewhere from the city to the sea as soon as possible, to relax. Then Eva was cleaning the closet and found a pregnancy test. She had no hope, but just in case decided to check, especially since there was a delay. And as it turned out, she was pregnant!
Eva even jumped for joy and arranged a celebratory dinner that evening, but David came home from work late. Eva had already fallen asleep by that time. And in the morning, while David was sleeping, Eva decided to do the laundry, her husband’s shirt smelled like someone else’s perfume. There were traces of kisses on her husband’s neck…
When David woke up, he immediately confessed:

Eva never told me that she was pregnant with his child. She thought that then he would stay with her because of the child, not because of love. So love is gone.
