I left my wife and found a new love! No more drama!
Greetings to all who read this!
I wish to share with you a story. A tale devoid of tears, pain, and regrets.
This isn’t a confession from a miserable man; it’s more like a fairy tale, as I still find it hard to believe that all of this has happened to me.
I was married for ten years. A long decade spent with a woman who betrayed me, treated me like a servant, and showed no respect for my feelings or my dignity.
I endured it. I thought that was how it had to be. I believed that family meant obligations, not just happiness.
But one day, I realized I was tired.
So, I decided to leave.
I went away to find some solace.
I avoided drama and didn’t create any scenes. I simply packed my belongings and headed to a quaint little hotel in the countryside.
I craved peace. I longed to feel free, even if just for a few days.
I switched off my phone. I didn’t care if my wife noticed my absence or not.
I just wanted to breathe.
That evening, I descended to the hotel restaurant, ordered dinner, and savored the rare moments of calm.
And then, I saw her.
I met her when I least expected it.
She was sitting at a nearby table, beautiful yet clearly lost in thought.
Her face bore a sadness, and her gaze seemed weary.
I caught myself wondering: perhaps she had her own issues, far more serious than mine?
I hadn’t intended to meet anyone. Yet, fate had other plans.
As she rose from her table and made her way to the lift, I stood up as well.
It turned out we were headed to the same floor.
But the lift unexpectedly got stuck.
A malfunctioning lift and a fateful encounter.
She panicked.
I noticed her hands trembling, her breath becoming shallow.
I simply took her hand and gently said:
— It’s alright. We’ll get out.
She looked at me.
Then I embraced her.
We remained silent, just standing there in the dark of the stalled lift, and for the first time in a long while, I felt truly at peace.
When we were finally freed, we burst into laughter.
We introduced ourselves.
Her name was Victoria.
A new chapter in my life.
Before she entered her room, she turned and asked:
— Shall we have breakfast together tomorrow?
— Of course, — I replied.
From that day forward, we were inseparable.
I had never thought it could be so easy to find love.
With her, I feel authentic. Alive. Free.
I finally understood: life shouldn’t be a continuous drama.
Sometimes, all it takes is a single bold step—and fate will lead the way.
Now I know: my fairy tale is just beginning. And I hope it lasts as long as possible.
