I left my wife and found new love! Enough of the drama!
Greetings to all who read these lines!
I want to share a story. A story that is devoid of tears, pain, and regrets.
This isn’t a confession from a wretched man, but rather a fairy tale. Because even now, I can scarcely believe it all happened to me.
I was married for ten years. A decade spent with a woman who betrayed me, treated me like a servant, and showed no respect for my feelings or dignity.
I endured it. I thought that was how it was meant to be. I believed that family meant obligation and sacrifice, not just happiness.
But one day, I realised I was exhausted.
And I simply chose to leave.
I went away to forget.
I didn’t create scenes or cause uproars. I packed my belongings and headed to a small, cosy hotel in the countryside.
I craved peace. I wanted to feel free, even if only for a few days.
I switched off my phone. I couldn’t care less if my wife noticed my absence or not.
All I wanted was to breathe.
That evening, I went down to the hotel restaurant, ordered dinner, and savoured the rare moments of tranquility.
And then I saw her.
I met her when I least expected it.
She was sitting at a nearby table. Beautiful, but clearly deep in thought.
Her face bore a look of sadness, her gaze tired.
I caught myself wondering: perhaps she had her own issues, far more serious than mine?
I hadn’t planned to meet anyone. But fate had other plans.
As she stood up and headed for the lift, I followed suit.
It turned out we were going to the same floor.
But then the lift unexpectedly broke down.
The fateful stall and encounter.
She was frightened.
I noticed her hands shaking, her breath quickening.
I simply took her hand and softly said, “It’s alright. We’ll get out of here.”
She looked at me.
Then I wrapped my arms around her.
We stood in silence, embracing in the darkness of the stalled lift, and for the first time in a long while, I felt at peace.
When we were freed, we both laughed.
We introduced ourselves.
Her name was Victoria.
A new chapter in my life.
Before heading to her room, she turned and asked, “Shall we have breakfast together tomorrow?”
“Of course,” I replied.
From that day on, we were inseparable.
I never imagined that meeting my true love could happen so easily.
With her, I feel genuine. Alive. Free.
I finally understood: life shouldn’t be a constant drama.
Sometimes, all it takes is the courage to take a step — and destiny will show you the way forward.
Now I know: my fairy tale is just beginning. And may it last for as long as possible.
