Danny and his family moved to the village. They decided to build a house there and move there permanently. The parents were worried whether their son would like life in the village, but he reassured them, saying that he liked it even more in the village, because who could not like the open spaces and fresh air?

In 8 months the house was ready. All the neighbors helped the family with repairs. They invited a lot of people to the housewarming party. The same Grace came to visit them.
She was hanging around Danny all evening. He talked to her nicely, answered her questions, but there was no interest in his eyes. Grace herself noticed this. She stood in the middle of the room and said:
– “Just out of curiosity I dug in the archives and found out that your land belongs to other people. I wrote to them, explained everything in detail, so expect guests. The evening was ruined.
Grace’s parents apologized for their daughter and, blushing, went home, followed by the others. Danny and his parents decided to wait, in case kind people would come along and they wouldn’t have to demolish the house… Finally, there was a knock at the door. Behind the door stood a pretty girl in a light down jacket. Danny’s mother invited her into the house and gave her warm tea.
– A girl explained me my rights, saying that you are engaged in illegal construction on our land… – the girl said.
– We are ready to pay. We honestly didn’t know, – Danny’s mother interrupted the girl, – just name the price, we’ll try to collect everything quickly.
– Oh, no, what are you doing? I will draw up a deed of gift. You built the house – you live in it. I have nothing against it, by God. I just wanted to re-register all the documents to you, so that there would be no misunderstandings in the future.
All this time Danny was lying in his room, but the girl’s voice seemed to call him to her, so he entered the living room. Here he felt in his heart that it was her, his future wife.
Now the twins Danny and Eva are cheerfully stomping around the house, and Grace… what about Grace, she is still single.
