Ella aspired to the capital for a better life, but ended up becoming a lifelong caregiver for a frail old man.

Ella lived in a small village near the capital. She wanted so much to get out to the big city, but she understood that her parents needed every penny. Then she studied hard to enter the institute in the capital, no matter what she had to do to get out of this hole as soon as possible. And Ella lived in the farthest house in the village, almost like in a remote village.

There was a boy she liked at school, Bryan, so black-haired, tall and terribly shy. Ella had been courting him at school, but he never dared to approach her. All of her classmates who were from wealthy families had a tutor to prepare them for admission, but Ella’s family could not afford it. She had to apply on her own, but it didn’t work out.

Ella had to get a job as a saleswoman in a shop near the train station. Ella was beautiful, with a perfect figure, red hair and thick eyelashes. She began to specially come to the places where Bryan appeared, seducing him in all ways. She would look at him with a burning look, then pass close by, then smile. Eventually, Bryan made the first step, and there cunning Ella manipulated him to marry her.

It all worked out, and happy Ella moved to live with her husband in a beautiful 9-storey house, though they lived with her mother, but it was only for the best. Her mother-in-law cooked for them, so Ella had nothing to worry about.

Six months passed, and Ella was tired of this life, she wanted to go to the city as soon as possible, to a better life. But Bryan was not going to leave his mother in the village. One day a respectable man of about 60 came into the store. He showered Ella with compliments, bought a box of chocolates and immediately gave Ella a present.

– What is such a beauty doing in the village? You should go to the capital, to the best places…

– Oh, I’d love to.

– Then let’s go together. My train will be here soon.

Ella immediately liked such determination, and besides, it was clear that the man was rich. Ella moved in with him, and the apartment turned out to be gorgeous, with antique furniture. The man took Ella to restaurants, gave her flowers, did not refuse her anything. He gave her a fur coat and jewelry. Ella did not work, and why should she, if her husband is the boss in the unit.

When Bryan barely got through to his wife, Ella answered:

– Do not look for me, but stay with your mother. I left far away and forever.

Only a misfortune happened. A new suitor got to the hospital, he had a stroke. Ella’s situation was on the brink, they were not married, which means that if he dies, Ella will get nothing. Somehow Ella nursed the old man, then he was discharged home. But even here it was not better. She had to change his diapers, feed him with a spoon and take care of him like a small child. That’s what her life turned into.
