Adele Stands Up for Fan During Las Vegas Show
Adele showcased her strong bond with fans during a performance at Las Vegas’ Caesars Palace when she paused her show to defend a fan being harassed by security. Fan Juan Pablo Lastra had been enthusiastically singing along, which prompted security to repeatedly ask him to sit down.
Noticing the situation, Adele stopped her performance of “I Drink Wine” to address the issue. From the stage, she asked, “What’s going on with that young fan who’s been bothered since I came on for standing up? Why are you all bothering him?” She then firmly told security to back off, assuring the fan, “They won’t bother you anymore, darling. You enjoy the show.”
Juan, who was filming the event with a 360-degree camera, captured the entire moment. The footage quickly went viral, gaining widespread attention. Shared on his TikTok, the video has amassed over a million views across different uploads. Following Adele’s intervention, the security guard withdrew, and a senior staff member reassured Juan that he was “fine” and could remain standing.
The audience erupted in cheers, showing their support for Juan and appreciation for Adele’s actions. This heartwarming incident occurred during her “Weekends With Adele” residency, highlighting her dedication to her fans.
