– For the first three weeks after discharge, everything was quiet and peaceful. And then my daughter-in-law said that she was getting tired and had no time to do anything. Philip eats nothing but uncooked food and pasta. She cannot even heat up his food. Can you imagine? – complains the 56-year-old mother-in-law.
Mother-in-law believes that a healthy young child can not take so much time. She thinks that her daughter-in-law is lazy and exaggerating. Especially since they bought a lot of newfangled equipment, toys, and other gadgets. Her relative has seen the baby, he is quite calm, so it is not about him at all. Well, how can you leave your husband hungry? This is impertinence!
The woman’s son is 30 years old. He has been proudly wearing the title of father for a month. The first week after the appearance of his son was at home, and then returned to normal life. Maria struggled on her own, since there was no point in waiting for help from her parents – they were working.
Philip is sure that his wife didn’t need help either. According to him, the baby rarely cries, and does not require attention. The man feeds her, takes her for a walk, bathes her, and that’s what everybody does! The man drowned in his own affairs with his head, because he decided that Maria is already relaxed.
– The son does not stay at work long. A young child at home, after all. He comes home for a quick meal and all the pans are empty. The wife didn’t have time, you see! – My mother-in-law gets indignant.
At the beginning the child slept and ate, so the young mother coped. And then he began to demand attention, to be cranky and cry, so the head of the family came home from work to an empty table. Philip did not worry for long – he decided to order himself a meal delivery, because he was tired of pasta, sausages, and dumplings.
What is the problem? The fact that the head of the family orders food only for himself.
– They rent and save for a mortgage. Maternity leave is not touched, they put it in a savings fund. They lived mostly on Philip’s salary, although they sometimes took money from the piggy bank. However, if they start ordering food every day, their reserves will not last long, – complains my mother-in-law.
When Maria watched her husband stomping on restaurant meals, her eyes widened. Then the head of the family explained that he had ordered only himself, as it is an expensive treat. After work, he does not want to run to the stove and cook, so, in his opinion, there is no other choice.
He would gladly eat home-cooked food, if there was any. Maria, on the other hand, is shocked at how ratty her husband is. How can she watch him eat in front of her? This is, at the very least, disrespectful!
Is Philip doing the right thing? Is it so hard for him to make a quick soup? Or does he want to teach his wife a lesson? Isn’t it silly to order only one serving when the spouses live together?
