The dog in this story was abandoned on a bridge in Vietnam. His previous owner tied him tightly to the railing with a hose, he had no chance to escape and the pressure was hurting him. He needed to be released as soon as possible.
The bridge was located in a very busy area and because of this he was spotted in time by a man who immediately called the authorities to proceed with the rescue. The dog was undoubtedly far from home, alone and disoriented. It is not known exactly how long the dog was tied up, but its appearance communicated that it was a home dog, now abandoned; crestfallen and without energy. The sadness in which he was immersed was evident.
Due to his low mood and his neck wounds, the rescuers had to resort to several strategies to gain the abandoned dog’s trust; so that he would understand that he would not be harmed.
It was then that one of the rescuers approached him and began to comfort him. The dog was at first a little reluctant, but ended up surrendering to the man’s caresses. They managed to free the dog, calm him down and give him some treats. They also gave him water and food to regain his strength and the animal’s sadness began to disappear. The dog had understood that he was now in hands he could trust.
After the rescue, the dog was taken to a shelter. Upon arrival, he underwent all the required examinations. He only had the wound on his neck, but thanks to the prompt treatment he received, he is now completely healthy.
Now this dog spends his days enjoying the company of other dogs in the middle of green fields, he loves to receive massages and run through the nature of the shelter. His physical and emotional change is remarkable.
