Emily chose to stay in Manchester, especially as her art was starting to bring in a decent income in pounds sterling. In her final year at college, she became pregnant again. Her fiancé offered her a room in his parents council flat, but coping with a young child while studying proved too much, so she sent her son to live with her mother in the village for a while.
