– Come to my dacha for a vacation! – My mother-in-law offered us. A week later I left the dacha to file for divorce.

I’m 34 years old. I am married. My wife Kate is 29 years old. I work a lot, my wife also works a lot. Kate and I have been married for four years. Of course, sometimes we quarrelled. But we always tried to make up as soon as possible.
And so recently Kate and I decided to take a vacation. We were just about to have a vacation at the same time.

At first we wanted to go to Turkey, but then we changed our minds. Then we were going to go to Crimea. But then we realized we didn’t have enough money for that. We just didn’t know what to do. And then my mother-in-law called us and said:
– Well, why will you spend the whole vacation in the city? Come to my dacha! You can have a rest! The house is big – there will be enough room for everyone! You will go to the river! You will sunbathe! Excellent rest!

My wife and I liked the idea. We packed and went. My mother-in-law has a very nice dacha. There are 10 acres of land. It may not seem like much. But my mother-in-law planted everything there: some beds, bushes, trees everywhere. There was a lot of grass around. The first day we ate lunch, took a shower, and then we rested. And in the evening we roasted kebabs and rested on the bank of the river. I really enjoyed it. And late that night my mother-in-law said:

– Well, you will help me with the vegetable garden tomorrow, won’t you? So much grass has already grown there!
– Of course I will! – Kate immediately agreed.

I decided not to say anything for now. I knew my mother-in-law well enough to know that she would talk so easily at first, and then she would squeeze everything out of us. And I wasn’t wrong. We went to bed at midnight. And at five in the morning my mother-in-law woke us up and said:
– Time to get up! We had a lot of work to do!

We ended up working from five in the morning until seven in the evening. We both weeded, mowed the grass, and replanted something. We didn’t even get a chance to have a normal lunch break. My mother-in-law only fed us lunch and immediately gave my wife and me a new job. I had enough for a week. I was very tired from such a vacation and dreamed only of how quickly I would return to town. Normal sleep, resting on the river was out of the question!

I wanted to go back to the city. But Kate wouldn’t hear of it. We had a big fight about it. I packed my things and left for town. And the next day I went to the registry office to file for divorce. I don’t want to rest at my mother-in-law’s dacha like that anymore
