Dogs can always surprise us and no matter their size, if we develop their skills to the maximum, they can be of great help to humans. They are recognized as man’s best friend for a reason, for their loyalty and for taking advantage of their senses to make our lives easier. In this case we will talk about a small Chihuahua dog that serves his country. Although he does not have the strength to stop criminals, he has the ability to detect them and alert the authorities.
This one was captured on duty by TikTok user @agatafornasa at what appears to be an airport in Colombia. Although the user did not say where he is from, the country could be determined by the flag that was on the uniform of the policemen accompanying the dog. And this little dog is also in uniform, identified as a member of the police and with permission to sniff all the bags and people at the airport.
The video of course went viral, and many were filled with tenderness to see this little dog working as a member of the police. Although it may not look like it, he surely had to go through a tough training before being admitted as a member of the force, the same training that other bigger dogs endure. Surely, this little dog sniffs out suitcases in the search for narcotics.
Those who want to smuggle narcotics through this airport will have to think twice, because there is one little dog they will not notice and probably cannot run away from. His nose has to be very fine and these dogs are sometimes a little bit upset, so he will be ready for anything.
